Santo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Vítor da Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Tricolor do Morumba's goal looked a bit too open when Matheus Peixoto came free, but Wiliam Capixaba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
