It was beautiful to see Pajaro CF's Filipe Mendonça in action when he in the 10th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Adelino Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st match minute, Fortnite was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Paulo Nunes to maneuver through the defense. When Pajaro CF's Luís Fábio Cerezo in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fortnite's goalie prevented a goal. 37 minutes into the match, Pajaro CF's goal looked a bit too open when Aílton Vieira came free, but João Francisco Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Adelino Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Luís Fábio Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 44th minute of the match Tarcisio Barreto completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Tarcisio Barreto a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 45th match minute, Fortnite was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarcisio Barreto to maneuver through the defense. If Luís Fábio Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Pajaro CF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adriano Tavares to make the kick off. Luís Fábio Cerezo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zbyszek Gabis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. In the 59th minute, Fortnite's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Luís Fábio Cerezo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 64th minute Zé Paulo Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Francisco Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilberto Donatello made a great header on Fortnite's corner, it was just that Pajaro CF's João Francisco Machado managed to reach the ball for a save. After having played for 69 minutes, Adriano Tavares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pajaro CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adriano Tavares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sílvio Luís Matorin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Francisco Machado having to make a save. After 77 played minutes Fortnite got a freekick which was hit by Aílton Vieira. Luís Fábio Cerezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zbyszek Gabis having to interfere. 82 minutes into the game, Samuel Valladares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pajaro CF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fortnite the free kick. In the 82nd minute, Samuel Valladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zbyszek Gabis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Fábio Cerezo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 88 minutes, Virgílio Schmidt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fortnite and the Pajaro CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th minute, Virgílio Schmidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Luís Fábio Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Valladares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Fortnite's Virgílio Schmidt got a free kick in the 94th minute. A collision led to Fortnite getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Kent Johansson hit a great ball. 97 minutes in the game Váldson Lopes got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Pajaro CF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
