Spectators: 7377 (Terracing: 5534, Seating: 1696, VIP seats: 147) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jaime Cearense took the kick off in the first half of the match. Samuel Valladares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Oséas Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 4th minute, Luís Fábio Cerezo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 7 minutes in the game, Luís Fábio Cerezo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Oséas Quadros having to interfere. Pajaro CF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Váldson Lopes in the 11th minute. A nice corner shot did that Váldson Lopes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Oséas Quadros quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Flarania getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Valdemar Britto hit a great ball. Váldson Lopes was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 13th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Pajaro CF's João Francisco Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilmar Oliveira in the 16th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Pajaro CF's Adriano Tavares slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Oséas Quadros. That made the score 1-0 after 18 minutes of play. Geovanni Sampaio hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. If Adriano Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Flarania's zone, Filipe Mendonça stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oséas Quadros came out of the goal and Filipe Mendonça tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd match minute, Flarania was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oséias Ceresso to maneuver through the defense. Lucas Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oséas Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fábio Cerezo in the 35th minute of play. Samuel Valladares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oséas Quadros having to interfere. In the 40th minute Nilmar Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Francisco Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Samuel Valladares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Luís Fábio Cerezo struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Oséas Quadros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pajaro CF. Lucas Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fábio Cerezo in the 53rd minute of play forced Flarania's goalkeeper Oséas Quadros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Pajaro CF booed when Flarania was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovanni Sampaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute, Luís Fábio Cerezo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Samuel Valladares struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Oséas Quadros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pajaro CF. Cléberson Gaúcho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Francisco Machado made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Nilmar Oliveira sent off a good shot on target. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Flarania's goalkeeper Oséas Quadros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pajaro CF's Samuel Valladares got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emílio Sena lost his temper 74 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The crowd rose to their feet as Flarania's Osvaldinho Rocha slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of João Francisco Machado. That made the score 2-1 after 79 minutes of play. In the 83rd minute Samuel Valladares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oséas Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oséas Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Geovanni Sampaio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 84 minutes had been played. After 85 played minutes Flarania got a freekick which was hit by Geovanni Sampaio. After having played for 88 minutes, Cléberson Gaúcho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pajaro CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cléberson Gaúcho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Jaime Cearense fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flarania's protests and gave Jaime Cearense a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Flarania's Jaime Cearense got a free kick in the 90th minute. Cléberson Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
