Zé Paulo Nunes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iwo Zawadzki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Zé Paulo Nunes had several of the Mavericks FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 8 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Iwo Zawadzki as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 12 played minutes Mavericks FC got a freekick which was hit by Raí Recife. Benedito de Amaral tried in the game's 13th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Iwo Zawadzki. An annoying self made goal, 2-0. In the 15th match minute, Mavericks FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raí Recife to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Fortnite's Zé Paulo Nunes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iwo Zawadzki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Mavericks FC's goalkeeper Iwo Zawadzki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giovani Hoffmann. Mavericks FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Zé Paulo Nunes scored to the left of an out of position Iwo Zawadzki, making the score, 3-0. Miguel Paes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Celsinho de Barros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Fortnite were victorious despite being under pressure from Mavericks FC for much of the match.
