After having played for 5 minutes, Lucas Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pajaro CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Barros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adriano Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Matheus Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the game, Matheus Peixoto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. João Francisco Machado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. João Francisco Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matheus Peixoto, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Pajaro CF's João Francisco Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matheus Peixoto in the 22nd minute of play. Lucas Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Léo Tande having to interfere. If Luís Fábio Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomé Cavalcante kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Léo Tande didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 37th minute, which inside left pole to 3-1. In the 41st minute, Samuel Valladares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pajaro CF's Adelino Lopes got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Samuel Valladares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Fábio Cerezo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Santo FC's zone, Luís Fábio Cerezo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Léo Tande came out of the goal and Luís Fábio Cerezo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 53rdth minute of the game Adelino Lopes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santo FC's Léo Tande was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 56 minutes into the game, Luís Fábio Cerezo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Léo Tande was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Léo Tande came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Pajaro CF's Lucas Barros. But to his dismay, Lucas Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. In the 62ndth minute of the game Filipe Mendonça who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santo FC's Léo Tande was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Adriano Tavares notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Santo FC's Léo Tande. Léo Tande was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Léo Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fábio Cerezo in the 68th minute of play. Léo Tande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Loyola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 71 minutes of play, Pajaro CF's Lucas Barros made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Léo Tande was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Luís Fábio Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Tomé Cavalcante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Santo FC's goalkeeper Léo Tande, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, Pajaro CF's Samuel Valladares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Léo Tande narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emílio Sena in the 86th minute of play forced Santo FC's goalkeeper Léo Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Lucas Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pajaro CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Léo Tande breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Samuel Valladares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Léo Tande read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Léo Tande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Loyola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
