Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Galaticos F.C's Matías Tasso started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Galaticos F.C getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Matheus Baiano hit a great ball. Elder Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thiago de Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matías Tasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elder Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matheus Peixoto in the 15th minute of the match. Matías Tasso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Santo FC's zone, Matías Tasso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Léo Tande came out of the goal and Matías Tasso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 24 minutes, Matheus Peixoto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matheus Peixoto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Zé Pedro Cunha fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galaticos F.C's protests and gave Zé Pedro Cunha a yellow card for diving instead. Matheus Peixoto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elder Luz having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Fred Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Léo Tande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matías Tasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Matías Tasso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Santo FC's Matheus Peixoto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Elder Luz. That made the score 1-0 after 47 minutes of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matheus Peixoto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Santo FC booed when Galaticos F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thiago de Azevedo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elder Luz. Galaticos F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Geovani Linares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Léo Tande. Santo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geovani Linares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 62nd minute Matheus Peixoto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elder Luz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matheus Peixoto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elder Luz having to interfere. 66 minutes into the game, Juvenal Sergipano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galaticos F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santo FC the free kick. 65 minutes into the game, one of Galaticos F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Elder Luz had in the 67thth minute some difficulties stopping Thiago de Azevedo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Matheus Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caetano Vaz might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elder Luz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Caetano Vaz ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Galaticos F.C getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. André Coutinho hit a great ball. In the 77th minute of the match Thiago de Azevedo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elder Luz skillfully saved the ball. If Matheus Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Coutinho hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Elder Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Vítor da Fonseca in the 81st minute of the match. Matías Tasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Léo Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Léo Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doni Gaspar in the 99th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
