Spectators: 6667 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dorival Moura got the match started through his kick off. Erik Trancoso came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Pajaro CF's Orlando Loyola. But to his dismay, Orlando Loyola quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Araraquara:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pajaro CF:s goal. After 28 minutes of play, Pajaro CF's Luís Fábio Cerezo made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erik Trancoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Samuel Valladares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adriano Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Trancoso having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Tião Koehler threw the ball into play from the sideline. Pajaro CF's Adelino Lopes quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Tavares in the 45th minute of play forced Araraquara's goalkeeper Erik Trancoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Araraquara's zone, Willian Mendes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erik Trancoso came out of the goal and Willian Mendes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adriano Tavares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Loyola got free with Erik Trancoso in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 59 minutes, Dudu Recife mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Araraquara and the Pajaro CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Araraquara's Dudu Recife got a free kick in the 59th minute. Willian Mendes hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the match, Pajaro CF's Filipe Mendonça sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erik Trancoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Pajaro CF's Willian Mendes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Erik Trancoso. Erik Trancoso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. Dorival Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Samuel Valladares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Araraquara's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Luís Fábio Cerezo scored to the left of an out of position Erik Trancoso, making the score, 1-7. After 83 played minutes Luís Fábio Cerezo rounded Araraquara's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-8. Adelino Lopes took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erik Trancoso. Erik Trancoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-9. Erik Trancoso came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Pajaro CF's Willian Mendes. But to his dismay, Willian Mendes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-10. Willian Mendes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erik Trancoso having to make a save.
