Cássio Recife started the match with the kick off. If Cássio Recife had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Mavericks FC's Emanuel Frumușanu got a free kick in the 8th minute. Mavericks FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cássio Recife 9 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 11th minute, Edgar Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iwo Zawadzki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio Recife, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Miguel Paes's late challenge caught a Kasesky EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Paes helped the player get up and apologised. After 14 played minutes Mavericks FC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Paes. After 15 played minutes Kasesky EC got a freekick which was hit by Edvaldo Castro. A collision led to Mavericks FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Benedito de Amaral hit a great ball. Cássio Recife fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iwo Zawadzki having to interfere. Mavericks FC's Iwo Zawadzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Recife in the 20th minute of play. After having played for 21 minutes, Celsinho de Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mavericks FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celsinho de Barros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Miguel Paes came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Mavericks FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Paes couldn't finish the play. After having played for 26 minutes, Cássio Recife managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kasesky EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cássio Recife was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Kasesky EC booed when Mavericks FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raí Recife didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iwo Zawadzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Recife in the 36th minute of the match. Pascual Barrutia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cássio Recife had several of the Mavericks FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 38 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Iwo Zawadzki as he didn't even see the shot coming. Pascual Barrutia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Iwo Zawadzki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Mavericks FC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Emanuel Frumușanu hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celsinho de Barros to strike the kick off in the second half. Cássio Recife sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Mavericks FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Miguel Paes hit a great ball. In the 61st minute, Cássio Recife got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mavericks FC's Celsinho de Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miguel Paes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mavericks FC's Iwo Zawadzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Recife in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute Cássio Recife shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwo Zawadzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 minutes, Tiago Gabriel Mota mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mavericks FC and the Kasesky EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Kasesky EC booed when Mavericks FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Gabriel Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Edgar Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kasesky EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgar Gomes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iwo Zawadzki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Mavericks FC's zone, Pascual Barrutia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iwo Zawadzki came out of the goal and Pascual Barrutia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iwo Zawadzki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pascual Barrutia went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 92nd minute, Edgar Gomes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kasesky EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 96 minutes into the game, Miguel Paes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Gino de Mendonça was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kasesky EC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
