The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Guilherme Loyola in the 7th minute of play forced Fortnite's goalkeeper Zbyszek Gabis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Betão de Sousa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Igarape AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fortnite the free kick. A collision led to Igarape AD getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Betão de Sousa hit a great ball. After 12 played minutes Fortnite got a freekick which was hit by Aílton Vieira. In the 14th minute Betão de Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbyszek Gabis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th match minute, Fortnite was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgílio Schmidt to maneuver through the defense. After 18 minutes, Luís Guilherme Loyola made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Fortnite's Zbyszek Gabis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sílvio Luís Matorin kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Tarcisio Barreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute of the match Oséas Peres shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zbyszek Gabis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luís Guilherme Loyola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Zbyszek Gabis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 33 played minutes, Fortnite's Giovani Hoffmann shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rony Godoi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fortnite reached it. In the 38th minute Luís Guilherme Loyola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbyszek Gabis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Fortnite's Sílvio Luís Matorin got a free kick in the 39th minute. After 41 played minutes, Igarape AD's Claudinho Botelho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zbyszek Gabis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Igarape AD reached it. If Marcos de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fortnite's Zbyszek Gabis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Guilherme Loyola in the 44th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

53 minutes into the match, Luís Guilherme Loyola dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zbyszek Gabis, 0-2. An unexpected shot in the 56th minute by Luís Guilherme Loyola got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Betão de Sousa took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zbyszek Gabis. Zbyszek Gabis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Luís Guilherme Loyola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the match, Fortnite's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos de Alcântara came free, but Zbyszek Gabis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute Luís Guilherme Loyola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbyszek Gabis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Zé Paulo Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fortnite's Zbyszek Gabis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Fortnite from getting a goal against them. Aílton Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Betão de Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Igarape AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Betão de Sousa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zbyszek Gabis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Betão de Sousa got free with Zbyszek Gabis in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd minute Celso Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbyszek Gabis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igarape AD's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
