João Paulo Tróia's late challenge caught a Chester FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Paulo Tróia helped the player get up and apologised. João Paulo Tróia hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Zeca Porto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerson Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Gerson Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeca Porto having to interfere. After 23 played minutes Uiuna got a freekick which was hit by João Paulo Tróia. Gerson Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The goalkeeper, Zeca Porto, was totally fooled by Chester FC's Adriano Amaral, who 33 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Zeca Porto made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Amauri Matorin sent off a good shot on target. When Gerson Batista came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Chester FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerson Batista couldn't finish the play. Amauri Matorin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Zeca Porto made a huge save. After 47 minutes, Alberto Moraes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chester FC and the Uiuna players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alberto Moraes hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gerson Batista made a kick off. Amauri Matorin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zeca Porto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. The Chester FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Uiuna had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
