Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kiko Andrade started the match with the kick off. Eduardo Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 7th minute, Diogo Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13thth minute of the game Percival Donato who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rosalandia's Dadá Bittencourt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Kiko Andrade's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Brasil was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Vieira in the 17th minute of play forced Vargen's goalkeeper Juan Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kiko Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Brasil having to interfere. Rosalandia's Kiko Andrade got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Rosalandia booed when Vargen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Percival Donato didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dadá Bittencourt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Gustavo Catarinense in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute of the match Beto Maia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dadá Bittencourt skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Rosalandia getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Diogo Vieira hit a great ball. If Kiko Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Rosalandia booed when Vargen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Gustavo Catarinense was the one to do the kick off. Juan Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edvaldo Teles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kiko Andrade in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to Vargen getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Válter Sousa hit a great ball. In the 57thth minute of the game Kiko Andrade who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vargen's Juan Brasil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Rosalandia's Kiko Andrade in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vargen's goalie prevented a goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Brasil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rosalandia were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Vargen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cido Ferraz took the corner. In the 76th match minute, Vargen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Umberto Maia to maneuver through the defense. When Rosalandia's Kiko Andrade in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vargen's goalie prevented a goal. Ricardo de Almeida scored 1-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juan Brasil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Percival Donato came free with the goalkeeper in the 90th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dadá Bittencourt could save by the left post. Vargen's Matías Neto shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 92nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Dadá Bittencourt but with some difficulty. After a defensive mix-up in Vargen's zone, Kiko Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Brasil came out of the goal and Kiko Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Maria Fernandez's late challenge caught a Rosalandia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Maria Fernandez helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Rosalandia booed when Vargen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Maria Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball.
