Alfredo Senna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beto Soares's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. When Descanco's Beto Soares in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bitumirim EC's goalie prevented a goal. Beto Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 minutes of play, Descanco's Roger de Mendonça made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfredo Senna was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Beto Soares in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredo Senna saved Bitumirim EC from getting behind. Alfredo Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger de Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jefferson Nóbrega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sydney Tavares having to interfere. After 37 minutes of play Bitumirim EC's Paulão Pimenta was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Descanco booed when Bitumirim EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulão Pimenta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredo Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger de Mendonça in the 43rd minute of play. Roger de Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Senna having to interfere. Beto Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rogério Monteiro made a kick off. Bitumirim EC's Alfredo Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilson Baiano in the 52nd minute of play. Beto Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Senna having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Bitumirim EC's goal looked a bit too open when Roger de Mendonça came free, but Alfredo Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Roger de Mendonça fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Alfredo Senna, passed just outside the right post. Descanco's Beto Soares got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Beto Soares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Alfredo Senna made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Beto Soares took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Alfredo Senna to make any attempt to save it. Beto Soares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredo Senna having to make a save. Beto Soares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Alfredo Senna made a huge save. Jefferson Nóbrega kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Beto Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute.
