Spectators: 7244 (Terracing: 5454, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 140) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Roger de Mendonça kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Kiko Andrade cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sydney Tavares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beto Soares got free with Dadá Bittencourt in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Elder da Costa fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Descanco's protests and gave Elder da Costa a yellow card for diving instead. Elder da Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. With a little luck, Rosalandia's Dadá Bittencourt got control of the ball when Beto Soares tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Descanco booed when Rosalandia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diogo Vieira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Rosalandia's goal looked a bit too open when Roger de Mendonça came free, but Dadá Bittencourt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dadá Bittencourt was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roger de Mendonça showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 21 minute of play. A hard shot 23 in the game by Beto Soares from a close distance when the talented Dadá Bittencourt managed to make a qualified save. Rosalandia's players were relieved. Rosalandia's Kiko Andrade got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Beto Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Rosalandia's Gernando Torres seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gernando Torres the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Rosalandia protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gernando Torres had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of Rosalandia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Descanco:s goal. Alfredinho Velasco shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Sydney Tavares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kiko Andrade's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Kiko Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sydney Tavares having to interfere. With a little luck, Rosalandia's Dadá Bittencourt got control of the ball when Beto Soares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dadá Bittencourt came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Descanco's Elder da Costa. But to his dismay, Elder da Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 46 minutes, Beto Soares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Descanco and the Rosalandia players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Descanco getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Beto Soares hit a great ball. If Ricardo de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51st minute, Roger de Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Descanco's Sydney Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kiko Andrade in the 52nd minute of play. Kiko Andrade in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sydney Tavares, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 62nd minute, Eduardo Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dadá Bittencourt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger de Mendonça in the 63rd minute of play. Roger de Mendonça scored 3-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dadá Bittencourt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 71 played minutes Rosalandia got a freekick which was hit by Marco Lucas. Kiko Andrade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Sydney Tavares made a huge save. Ricardo de Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sydney Tavares having to interfere. When Rosalandia's Kiko Andrade in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With his leg Sydney Tavares managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Rosalandia's Kiko Andrade fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Kiko Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Sydney Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roger de Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Descanco's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
