After having played for 22 minutes, Severino Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fred Abraão hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, Clube Delta de Futebol's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Couto came free, but Denílson Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, João Paulo Coelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giovani Macedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thomás dos Santos's late challenge caught a W7 FUTEBOL CLUBE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thomás dos Santos helped the player get up and apologised. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Sílvio Couto sped through Clube Delta de Futebol's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Denílson Romero. After the first half W7 FUTEBOL CLUBE were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sílvio Couto in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Denílson Romero saved Clube Delta de Futebol from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Durvalino Negri managed to get in a good position for a shot. W7 FUTEBOL CLUBE's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
