Orindiuva EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafael Martins was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The supporters of Orindiuva EC booed when Bacaubas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hudson de Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafael Martins was the one to do the kick off. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Orindiuva EC's zone, Pedro Augusto dos Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renato Prestes came out of the goal and Pedro Augusto dos Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Martins in the 90th minute of play forced Orindiuva EC's goalkeeper Renato Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Renato Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Augusto dos Santos in the 92nd minute of play. Renato Prestes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the referee ended the match the Bacaubas FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
