Dino Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio da Silveira having to interfere. Dadá Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Machado in the 23rd minute of the match. Dadá Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Álvaro Gomes in the 61st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Quissaman's zone, Álvaro Gomes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dadá Catarinense came out of the goal and Álvaro Gomes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dadá Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Machado in the 68th minute of play. Dadá Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Fernando Albuquerque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álvaro Gomes in the 79th minute of play forced Quissaman's goalkeeper Dadá Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Fernando Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
