The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Baltazar Valadares was slow to take the kick. During this time godines bc's players had a chance to rest. godines bc's Baltazar Valadares was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nelsinho Galvão in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 82nd minute, Victor Pirani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jairo Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Fernandão Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jairo Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
