In the 10thth minute of the game Durvalino da Cunha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Broca's Silvério Peres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Orindiuva EC's Renato Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renan Tasso in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th match minute, Orindiuva EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltazar Neto to maneuver through the defense. After 29 played minutes Orindiuva EC got a freekick which was hit by Moisés Gonçalves. A collision led to Orindiuva EC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Silas Alagoano hit a great ball. Renan Tasso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Renato Prestes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Silvério Peres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltazar Neto in the 43rd minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Silvério Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durvalino da Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute of the match Renan Tasso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Renato Prestes skillfully saved the ball. After 55 minutes of play, Broca's Tommy Schuts made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Renato Prestes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Moisés Gonçalves got his second yellow card in the match during the 59th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Broca booed when Orindiuva EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moisés Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Durvalino da Cunha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Orindiuva EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Broca the free kick. If Renan Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Schuts struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Renato Prestes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Broca. In the 81st minute, Renan Tasso made a precise shot to the right of Renato Prestes. Orindiuva EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. After 87 minutes, Duda Carneiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Broca and the Orindiuva EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th match minute, Broca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duda Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. Baltazar Neto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Silvério Peres made a huge save.
