After 11 minutes, Antônio Carlos Valle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Andrew F.C and the godines bc players grew even worse after the yellow card. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

55 minutes into the match, Victor Pirani dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nelsinho Galvão, 1-2. Fernandão Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Augusto Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. godines bc's Washington Madureira got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Washington Madureira struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Nelsinho Galvão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for godines bc. A collision led to Andrew F.C getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Cacá Furlan hit a great ball. In the 69th minute of the game, Nelsinho Falcão landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Washington Madureira fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored godines bc's protests and gave Washington Madureira a yellow card for diving instead. Jairo Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandão Sena having to interfere. Baltazar Valadares charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baltazar Valadares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 75th match minute, godines bc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltazar Valadares to maneuver through the defense. Victor Pirani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Nelsinho Galvão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Andrew F.C's goalkeeper Nelsinho Galvão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
