Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Reginaldo Araújo kicked off to start the match. Silvério Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telmo de Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Reginaldo Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emerson França charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emerson França the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th minute, Emerson França hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 1-1 became the score in the 20th minute when Reginaldo Araújo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Renan Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Usina da Tijuca F.C.'s Danilo Severo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Guilherme Hoffmann in the 36th minute of play. After 38 minutes, Telmo de Andrade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Usina da Tijuca F.C. and the Broca players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 38 played minutes Usina da Tijuca F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Telmo de Andrade. 39 minutes into the match, Usina da Tijuca F.C.'s goalkeeper Danilo Severo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renan Tasso. A collision led to Broca getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Luiz Guilherme Hoffmann hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the match, Broca's Renan Tasso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Danilo Severo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Silvério Peres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Telmo de Andrade in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute Emerson França shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvério Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Schuts kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Telmo de Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute Emerson França shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvério Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Erik Mazza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the match, Broca's goal looked a bit too open when Reginaldo Araújo came free, but Silvério Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 67 minutes, Renan Tasso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Broca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Renan Tasso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute, Renan Tasso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Broca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. When Emerson França came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Usina da Tijuca F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emerson França couldn't finish the play. Silvério Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reginaldo Araújo in the 75th minute of play. Telmo de Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Silvério Peres made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Telmo de Andrade sent off a good shot on target. Duda Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Silvério Peres was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Emílio de Amaral. Broca's Silvério Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reginaldo Araújo in the 81st minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Erik Mazza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Silvério Peres. Erik Mazza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. The supporters of Usina da Tijuca F.C. booed when Broca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duda Carneiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erik Mazza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvério Peres having to make a save. Usina da Tijuca F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
