With a couple of smart ball manuevers Renan Tasso in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nelsinho Galvão saved Andrew F.C from getting behind. In the 11th match minute, Andrew F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvério Souto to maneuver through the defense. Renan Tasso struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Nelsinho Galvão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Broca. When Leandro Quirino came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Broca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leandro Quirino couldn't finish the play. Tommy Schuts charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Broca's Silvério Peres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Broca from getting a goal against them. Jairo Valle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Silvério Peres made a huge save. The supporters of Broca booed when Andrew F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Renan Tasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Nelsinho Galvão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Tommy Schuts made a precise shot to the right of Nelsinho Galvão. Andrew F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Andrew F.C's zone, Renan Tasso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nelsinho Galvão came out of the goal and Renan Tasso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Schuts in the 48th minute of play forced Andrew F.C's goalkeeper Nelsinho Galvão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Renan Tasso made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Andrew F.C's Nelsinho Galvão got control of the ball when Renan Tasso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Renan Tasso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nelsinho Galvão having to make a save. If Renan Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute Pedro Augusto Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvério Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Andrew F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Broca were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
