The referee showed Angelo Sergipano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Giovanni Quadros walked up to take care of the penalty kick. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Giovanni Zanette to make the kick off. Angelo Borges helped the player get up and apologised. After 77 played minutes Porteira got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Borges. Renato Cunha struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. After 81 minutes of play, Flamengo Seleção slp's Valdir Gonçalves made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Porteira's goalkeeper Manoel Hoffmann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Manoel Hoffmann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Renato Cunha's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute, Giovanni Zanette ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nelsinho Simões was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. In the 93rd minute, Sidnei Ferreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 96th minute Renato Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manoel Hoffmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flamengo Seleção slp's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
