Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 1-0 became the score in the 7th minute when Manuel Couto elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Alfredão Perez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Couto, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. José Carlos Martins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, SHIKADAI FC's José Carlos Martins got a free kick in the 14th minute. Rubinho Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Laércio Alagoano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the game, Zézinho Antunes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Alfredão Perez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 23rd play minute Zézinho Antunes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alfredão Perez. 3-0. After 28 played minutes Patau SC got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Carioca. After having played for 30 minutes, José Carlos Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SHIKADAI FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Carlos Martins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patau SC's Zézinho Antunes was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 32nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 39th minute Manuel Couto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredão Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Patau SC's goal looked a bit too open when Rubinho Moreira came free, but Laércio Alagoano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, César Galvão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredão Perez was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manuel Couto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alfredão Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zézinho Antunes in the 52nd minute of play. If Ciro Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dalmo de Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Patau SC defense, José Carlos Martins kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laércio Alagoano. The Patau SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laércio Alagoano should have stopped the shot. In the 81st minute, SHIKADAI FC's José Carlos Martins dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-2. If Zézinho Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 94 minutes, Rubinho Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SHIKADAI FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rubinho Moreira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute, Zézinho Antunes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Patau SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2. Patau SC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
