Germano Sabóia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Manoel Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Porteira's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Germano Sabóia scored to the left of an out of position Manoel Hoffmann, making the score, 1-0. In the 15th minute, ASTRT's Gino de Queirós ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Manoel Hoffmann. Manoel Hoffmann yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 21st minute, Germano Sabóia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manoel Hoffmann was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 33rd minute, Jaime Sanches hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 35 in the game by Germano Sabóia from a close distance when the talented Manoel Hoffmann managed to make a qualified save. Porteira's players were relieved. Manoel Hoffmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Germano Sabóia in the 43rd minute. Gino de Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manoel Hoffmann having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Germano Sabóia made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilmar Toledo during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of ASTRT:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Porteira:s goal. Sidney de Andrade shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Angelo Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Manoel Hoffmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germano Sabóia in the 67th minute of play. Oséias Souza hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the match, Porteira's Sidney de Andrade broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Manoel Hoffmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gino de Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manoel Hoffmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Germano Sabóia in the 77th minute of the match. Sidnei Ferreira hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Germano Sabóia in the 91st minute of play forced Porteira's goalkeeper Manoel Hoffmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Germano Sabóia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 98 minutes into the game, Arlindo Trigo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ASTRT's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Porteira the free kick. Arlindo Trigo hit a great freekick 99 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ASTRT had played much better football throughout.
