ASTRT's supporters rose to their feet, but Germano Sabóia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edu Camargo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute, Nilson de Alcântara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 16thth minute of the game Germano Sabóia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Macedônia FC's Edu Camargo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Germano Sabóia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 29 minutes of play, ASTRT's Germano Sabóia made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edu Camargo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Germano Sabóia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Edu Camargo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gino de Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edu Camargo having to interfere. Gilmar Toledo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edu Camargo. Macedônia FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 45 played minutes Macedônia FC got a freekick which was hit by Natã Cordeiro. When Germano Sabóia came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the ASTRT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Germano Sabóia couldn't finish the play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Germano Sabóia to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, ASTRT's Germano Sabóia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Germano Sabóia struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Edu Camargo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ASTRT. If Marcelo de Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
