Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Manuel Couto took the kick off in the first half of the match. Germano Sabóia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Patau SC's zone, Germano Sabóia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laércio Alagoano came out of the goal and Germano Sabóia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th minute Manuel Couto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Xavier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 played minutes, Patau SC's Armando Quintal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Xavier came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Patau SC reached it. Laércio Alagoano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Germano Sabóia's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 16th match minute, Patau SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio Baiano to maneuver through the defense. When Zézinho Antunes fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Patau SC's protests and gave Zézinho Antunes a yellow card for diving instead. Zézinho Antunes hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Germano Sabóia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Manuel Couto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Jonathan Xavier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laércio Alagoano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gino de Queirós in the 27th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gino de Queirós during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gino de Queirós hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Fábio Tasso in the 32nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ASTRT's Marcelo de Brito. Ciro Carioca hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. ASTRT's Jonathan Xavier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Couto in the 37th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, ASTRT's Gilmar Toledo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 44 minutes into the game, Romeu Chaves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Patau SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ASTRT the free kick. After a rather tough play, Patau SC's Romeu Chaves got a free kick in the 45th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Germano Sabóia made a kick off. ASTRT's Jonathan Xavier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zézinho Antunes in the 54th minute of play. Manuel Couto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Xavier having to interfere. Jonathan Xavier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zézinho Antunes went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Germano Sabóia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Germano Sabóia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laércio Alagoano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Patau SC's Ciro Carioca got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Germano Sabóia managed to get in a good position for a shot. ASTRT's supporters rose to their feet, but Germano Sabóia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laércio Alagoano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, ASTRT's Marcelo de Brito got a free kick in the 77th minute. Laércio Alagoano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germano Sabóia in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ASTRT's Ademar Soares got a free kick in the 87th minute. Germano Sabóia in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Laércio Alagoano, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jonathan Xavier came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Patau SC's Inácio Baiano. But to his dismay, Inácio Baiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Patau SC were victorious despite being under pressure from ASTRT for much of the match.
