The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Clemente Baiano fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AfrcBR's protests and gave Clemente Baiano a yellow card for diving instead. Clemente Baiano hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. AfrcBR's Amílton Guerra got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 9 played minutes BRUSQUE FC got a freekick which was hit by Ernani Paraense. Nuno Nogueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amílton Guerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute Amílton Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, BRUSQUE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amílton Guerra came free, but Nuno Nogueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Vânderson Mendes threw the ball into play from the sideline. BRUSQUE FC's Ernani Paraense quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Victor Zanette came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the AfrcBR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Zanette couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute, Amílton Guerra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AfrcBR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 27 minutes into the match, AfrcBR's Amílton Guerra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nuno Nogueira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 28th minute, Samuel Tande ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nuno Nogueira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Zeca Ferraz kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. BRUSQUE FC's Nuno Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Zanette in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind BRUSQUE FC's goalkeeper Nuno Nogueira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Victor Zanette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Nuno Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Nogueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Baiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After the first half AfrcBR were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amílton Guerra to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes BRUSQUE FC got a freekick which was hit by Ernani Paraense. With a little luck, BRUSQUE FC's Nuno Nogueira got control of the ball when Victor Zanette tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nuno Nogueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amílton Guerra in the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, BRUSQUE FC's goalkeeper Nuno Nogueira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Zanette. Nuno Nogueira made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Clemente Baiano sent off a good shot on target. Nuno Nogueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Baiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes in the game, Amílton Guerra fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Nuno Nogueira having to interfere. Nuno Nogueira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Victor Zanette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, AfrcBR's Vânderson Mendes got a free kick in the 90th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Zanette got free with Nuno Nogueira in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. AfrcBR played a much better game than BRUSQUE FC and deserved their victory. The BRUSQUE FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
