Wágner Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adhemar Arruda got free with Marcinho Rossi in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Firmiano's zone, Wágner Machado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcinho Rossi came out of the goal and Wágner Machado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex Baiano in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcinho Rossi saved Firmiano from getting behind. Alex Baiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Marcinho Rossi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex Baiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcinho Rossi having to interfere. Alex Baiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Marcinho Rossi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Luizinho de Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Penha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcinho Rossi made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Wágner Machado sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorge Penha to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Firmiano's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Baiano came free, but Marcinho Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luizinho de Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Wágner Machado came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Vicentado SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wágner Machado couldn't finish the play. If Wágner Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcinho Rossi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wágner Machado went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wágner Machado in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcinho Rossi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Vicentado SS's Wágner Machado in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Firmiano's goalie prevented a goal. If Jorge Penha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the game, Vicentado SS's Alex Baiano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcinho Rossi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Alex Baiano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcinho Rossi having to make a save. In the 91st minute Wágner Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcinho Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alex Baiano took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcinho Rossi. Marcinho Rossi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Wágner Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
