Yan Valle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wágner Machado in the 13th minute. With a little luck, Stuttgart F.C's Yan Valle got control of the ball when Wágner Machado tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Danilo Sá fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stuttgart F.C's protests and gave Danilo Sá a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Stuttgart F.C getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Danilo Sá hit a great ball. In the 19th minute Zé Pedro Loureiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laerte dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicentado SS's Laerte dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ediberto de Senna in the 20th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Ediberto de Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stuttgart F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Ediberto de Senna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laerte dos Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wágner Machado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Yan Valle when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Stuttgart F.C's José Carlos Urbano got a free kick in the 28th minute. Wágner Machado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Yan Valle made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Stuttgart F.C's zone, Wágner Machado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yan Valle came out of the goal and Wágner Machado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Alex Baiano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yan Valle was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Doni Faria kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Vicentado SS's Alex Baiano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yan Valle. Yan Valle yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alex Baiano made a kick off. Yan Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Baiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wágner Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Yan Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Vicentado SS's Alex Baiano in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stuttgart F.C's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Baiano in the 66th minute of play forced Stuttgart F.C's goalkeeper Yan Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vicentado SS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nico Koehler in the 68th minute. The corner led Vicentado SS's Nico Koehler to fire away a dangerous shot which Yan Valle despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Stuttgart F.C's Yan Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wágner Machado in the 71st minute of play. A collision led to Stuttgart F.C getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Danilo Sá hit a great ball. In the 77th minute of the match Vicentado SS got a corner. Stuttgart F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nico Koehler ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Vicentado SS's Alex Baiano getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Alex Baiano kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Yan Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wágner Machado in the 81st minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, Vicentado SS's Wágner Machado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yan Valle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Yan Valle came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Vicentado SS's Alex Baiano. But to his dismay, Alex Baiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0.
