Nazarezinho SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Túlio Pombal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. João Vítor de Souza's late challenge caught a Nazarezinho SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Júlio Gaúcho was the one to do the kick off. The referee gave Norusqa Lokomotiv a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Clóvis Baiano, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Nazarezinho SS's Yuri Maia. 1-2. When Benjamin Custódio fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After 98 played minutes Nazarezinho SS got a freekick which was hit by Silas Fontes. After recieving a nice pass, Norusqa Lokomotiv's Clóvis Baiano tried to score from far away in the 99th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Nazarezinho SS eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
