Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simão Pena in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Júnior Santana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Simão Pena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Júnior Santana was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Possante de Jacó were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Carnaubas SC to leave the ground with a draw.
