Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) BANZAI TIMAO FC's Pedro Paulo Oliveira started the match with a crisp pass. Túlio Pombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleiton Melo having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Nazarezinho SS's Júlio Gaúcho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Júlio Gaúcho in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cleiton Melo saved BANZAI TIMAO FC from getting behind. In the 27th minute Júlio Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleiton Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Túlio Pombals short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Cleiton Melo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 30th minute, Walmir Pena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yuri Maia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Paulo Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adalberto Sampaio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Yuri Maia. Nazarezinho SS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Túlio Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the game, BANZAI TIMAO FC's Ronaldo Lara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yuri Maia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Eliézer Brodel kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Júlio Gaúcho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Nazarezinho SS's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Paulo Oliveira came free, but Yuri Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silas Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleiton Melo having to interfere. Yuri Maia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Paulo Oliveira in the 62nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Nazarezinho SS's zone, Ronaldo Lara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yuri Maia came out of the goal and Ronaldo Lara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cleiton Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Gaúcho in the 68th minute of the match. Yuri Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Paulo Oliveira in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Paulo Oliveira in the 75th minute of play forced Nazarezinho SS's goalkeeper Yuri Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Túlio Pombal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cleiton Melo having to make a save. A collision led to BANZAI TIMAO FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Nuno Hermes hit a great ball. Nazarezinho SS's attack was well implemented in the 82nd minute, but when Túlio Pombal was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. If Júlio Gaúcho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júlio Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
