Spectators: 7386 (Terracing: 5541, Seating: 1698, VIP seats: 147) Iaciara's Maurício Cardozo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Germano Moraes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Richard Rezende might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luisão Toledo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Richard Rezende ran back to his position shaking his head. Maurício Cardozo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisão Toledo having to interfere. After 8 played minutes Iaciara got a freekick which was hit by Edvaldo de Lara. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Iaciara's goalkeeper Jano Esteves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 11th minute, Ricardinho Proença made a precise shot to the right of Jano Esteves. Iaciara's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Ricardinho Proença did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Jano Esteves 17 minutes into the match. Jano Esteves came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Bobobi FC's Ricardinho Proença. But to his dismay, Ricardinho Proença quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sérgio Cabral in the 29th minute of play forced Iaciara's goalkeeper Jano Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Richard Rezende managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iaciara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richard Rezende was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sérgio Cabral took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jano Esteves. Jano Esteves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Ricardinho Proença's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jano Esteves firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricardinho Proença in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jano Esteves saved Iaciara from getting behind. Ricardinho Proença fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jano Esteves having to interfere. When Bobobi FC's Ricardinho Proença in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Iaciara's goalie prevented a goal. 46 minutes into the match, Iaciara's goalkeeper Jano Esteves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardinho Proença.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ricardinho Proença to make the kick off. In the 51st minute of the game, Fellipe Koehler landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 51 minutes, Richard Rezende mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Iaciara and the Bobobi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bobobi FC's Alexsandro Bezerra was substituted for Fellipe Koehler. The supporters of Bobobi FC booed when Iaciara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Rezende didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jano Esteves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardinho Proença's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. 58 minutes into the game, Bobobi FC's Sérgio Cabral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jano Esteves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. 61 minutes into the match, Sérgio Cabral notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Iaciara's Jano Esteves. Jano Esteves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 64th minute, Sérgio Cabral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jano Esteves was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Jano Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardinho Proença in the 68th minute of play. Edgard Ramalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sérgio Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iaciara's Jano Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardinho Proença in the 75th minute of play. In the 80th match minute, Bobobi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luís Zanette to maneuver through the defense. After 84 minutes of play, Bobobi FC's Ricardinho Proença made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jano Esteves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maurício Cardozo kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Ricardinho Proença managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bobobi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardinho Proença was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jano Esteves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rd minute, Doni Barreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Rezende in the 96th minute of play forced Bobobi FC's goalkeeper Luisão Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bobobi FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Iaciara had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
