Paulino Richie who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Lucas Rezende when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 38 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Demesio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lucas Rezende, 3-0. Lucas Rezende made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Paulino Richie sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
