João Vítor Prado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Umberto Gaspar made a huge save. Possante de Jacó's Lucas Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitinho Machado in the 32nd minute of play. Zé Augusto Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Umberto Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simão Pena in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Umberto Gaspar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Umberto Gaspar made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Simão Pena sent off a good shot on target. If Zé Augusto Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 48 minutes, Christiano Carneiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Possante de Jacó and the Norusqa Lokomotiv players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Norusqa Lokomotiv booed when Possante de Jacó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 49th minute, Clóvis Baiano sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Possante de Jacó's Lucas Rezende didn't even have to move. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vitinho Machado made a kick off. Umberto Gaspar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Augusto Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zé Augusto Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Umberto Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simão Pena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Possante de Jacó's Lucas Rezende got control of the ball when Róbson Porto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 65th minute, Róbson Porto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Norusqa Lokomotiv fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. A collision led to Norusqa Lokomotiv getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Dedé Gaspar hit a great ball. Umberto Gaspar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Simão Pena went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Possante de Jacó's Adelino Gaúcho got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Simão Pena made a precise shot to the right of Umberto Gaspar. Norusqa Lokomotiv's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Umberto Gaspar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Gaúcho in the 79th minute of play. Possante de Jacó's Lucas Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitinho Machado in the 81st minute of play. Possante de Jacó's Lucas Rezende proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Possante de Jacó from getting a goal against them. If Vitinho Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95thth minute of the game Simão Pena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Norusqa Lokomotiv's Umberto Gaspar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Zé Augusto Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee ended the match the Possante de Jacó players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
