Fausto Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theofilos Konstantinou having to interfere. In the 18th match minute, Ajax was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Zonta to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 2-1 when 郝亮迪 sped through Ajax's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Murillo Luz. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Frederico Paraibano made the kick off in the second half. Theofilos Konstantinou came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ajax's Hortêncio Braga. But to his dismay, Hortêncio Braga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Ajax's Hortêncio Braga got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Murillo Luz made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Thiago Pombal sent off a good shot on target. 郝亮迪 was shown his second yellow card after 58 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Axinim's 郝亮迪 got a free kick in the 59th minute. Rodrigo Mazza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theofilos Konstantinou having to interfere. If Rodrigo Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Murillo Luz made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Thiago Pombal sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Ajax getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Bruninho Dante hit a great ball. Jailson de Salles's late challenge caught a Ajax's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jailson de Salles helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th minute, Fausto Zonta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Axinim's goalkeeper Theofilos Konstantinou, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thiago Pombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ajax's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
