With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aloísio Lima prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17thth minute of the game Vânderson Carneiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Balsa's Aloísio Lima was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rubens Dantas to strike the kick off in the second half. Kiko Simões's late challenge caught a Real Iputinga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kiko Simões helped the player get up and apologised.
