JF's Simão Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kiko Simões in the 2nd minute of play. Simão Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kiko Simões in the 4th minute of the match. A collision led to Tupi F.C. JF getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Daniel Catarinense hit a great ball. Kiko Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Rubens Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balsa's supporters rose to their feet, but Rubens Dantas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simão Moreno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 17 minutes into the match, Tupi F.C. JF's goal looked a bit too open when Rubens Dantas came free, but Simão Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute of the match Caco Rocha shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Simão Moreno showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 20th minute, Kiko Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kiko Simões in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simão Moreno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kiko Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simão Moreno having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kiko Simões in the 34th minute of play forced Tupi F.C. JF's goalkeeper Simão Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kiko Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Simão Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of Tupi F.C. JF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Balsa:s goal. Tupi F.C. JF:s Simão Moreno showed great skill when he stopped Jorginho Breckenfeld:s penalty. 41 minutes into the game, Balsa's Jorginho Breckenfeld nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Simão Moreno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 45th minute, Rubens Dantas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Simão Moreno was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2.

In the 52nd minute Adelino Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloísio Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Balsa's zone, César Fernandes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aloísio Lima came out of the goal and César Fernandes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aloísio Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelino Moreira in the 64th minute of the match.
