The Axinim fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Axinim's 郝亮迪 looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thiago Pombal in the 38th minute of play forced Balsa's goalkeeper Aloísio Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aloísio Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giovanni Braga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Dudu Albuquerque got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Balsa's Rubens Dantas got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rubens Dantas to strike the kick off in the second half. Rubens Dantas scored 1-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Theofilos Konstantinou, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sílvio Luiz Gerber kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 65th minute Giovanni Braga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloísio Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Balsa's Dudu Albuquerque got a free kick in the 73rd minute. With splendid footwork 郝亮迪 arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-5 by the left pole in the game's 76th minute. Kiko Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute of the match, Giovanni Braga tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aloísio Lima saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thiago Pombal struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Aloísio Lima didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Axinim. If Thiago Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Giovanni Braga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Axinim's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
