If Bernardinho Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maurício Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bebeto Mendes having to interfere. Bebeto Mendes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Maurício Paiva showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Arvaja's goal looked a bit too open when Laércio Maia came free, but Hudson Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Bernardinho Alcântara came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Arvaja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardinho Alcântara couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Maurício Paiva made the kick off in the second half. Laércio Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Hudson Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Perne†as® F.C 39 -XX's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardinho Alcântara came free, but Bebeto Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Arvaja's Guto Pereira got a free kick in the 59th minute. With a little luck, Arvaja's Hudson Santana got control of the ball when Laércio Maia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maurício Paiva took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bebeto Mendes. Bebeto Mendes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Hudson Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Baiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. If Maurício Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 94th minute, Guto Pereira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th minute, Natanael de Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Perne†as® F.C 39 -XX's Gilberto Baiano got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
