Ernesto Lara started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lode Van Hoyvelt in the 8th minute of play forced Castanarana SC's goalkeeper Claudinei Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudinei Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mazinho das Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudinei Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mazinho das Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. TIAGO PADILHA FC's Mazinho das Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Castanarana SC's Claudinei Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lode Van Hoyvelt in the 17th minute of play. Claudinei Brito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lukasz Witkowski went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Claudinei Brito came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by TIAGO PADILHA FC's Lukasz Witkowski. But to his dismay, Lukasz Witkowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Castanarana SC's Claudinei Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mazinho das Neves in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Rodriguinho Palmeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Luisinho Mandrak from long distance, 34 minutes into the match, got Claudinei Brito's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Lode Van Hoyvelt took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Claudinei Brito to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Vidmantas Damskis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Claudinei Brito. That made the score 4-0 in the 38 minute of play. Victor Cosme hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Nelsinho Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmo Freitas in the 43rd minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

In the 84thth minute of the game Lukasz Witkowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Castanarana SC's Claudinei Brito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 88 minutes into the game, TIAGO PADILHA FC's Lukasz Witkowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudinei Brito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Claudinei Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Neves in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute Mazinho das Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinei Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
