In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caiubi SC's goalkeeper Maicon Neto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Caiubi SC's zone, Ronaldão Prestes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maicon Neto came out of the goal and Ronaldão Prestes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute Narciso Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maicon Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Dida Cavalcante reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eduardo da Silveira. The goal made the score 1-0. JanZan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodrigo Peixoto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Caiubi SC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
