Júlio Travassos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Maicon Neto made a huge save. Maicon Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aírton Prata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maicon Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bebeto Cosme in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Caiubi SC's goalkeeper Maicon Neto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Júlio Travassos. In the 67th minute, Beto da Silveira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Maicon Neto. The goal made the score 0-1. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tamburi walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
