Spectators: 6524 (Terracing: 5424, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alan Baiano started the match with the kick off. Alex Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexsandro Madureira in the 3rd minute of play. Alex Gaúcho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexsandro Madureira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th match minute, Pirajai EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Guedes to maneuver through the defense. Alan Baiano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tiago Gabriel Lago having to make a save. Pirajai EC's Teodoro Guedes got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pirajai EC's Alex Gaúcho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Pirajai EC from getting a goal against them. C.A. Paulistano's Ulisses Cardoso got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Guedes in the 21st minute of play forced C.A. Paulistano's goalkeeper Tiago Gabriel Lago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pirajai EC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Ulisses Cardoso scored to the left of an out of position Alex Gaúcho, making the score, 1-0. André Perez's late challenge caught a Pirajai EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. André Perez helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to C.A. Paulistano getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. André Perez hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Pirajai EC's goal looked a bit too open when Perivaldo Rosado came free, but Alex Gaúcho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Alexsandro Madureira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alex Gaúcho. That made the score 2-0 in the 45 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

C.A. Paulistano's Samuel Cardozo got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Alexsandro Madureira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A. Paulistano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Tiago Gabriel Lago made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Alan Baiano sent off a good shot on target. Alan Baiano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Tiago Gabriel Lago when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alan Baiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92ndth minute of the game Ulisses Cardoso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pirajai EC's Alex Gaúcho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 94th minute, Samuel Cardozo made a precise shot to the right of Alex Gaúcho. Pirajai EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. When the referee ended the match the C.A. Paulistano players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
