But to his dismay, Frederico Pena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Kiko Simão kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alex Gaúcho. That made the score 0-2 in the 70 minute of play. Matheus Lima hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The supporters of Libanesa booed when Pirajai EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doriva Cosme didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had been going on for 83 minutes Celso Barros shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Alex Gaúcho when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Pirajai EC's goal looked a bit too open when Frederico Pena came free, but Alex Gaúcho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 87 minutes of play, Libanesa's Kiko Simão made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alex Gaúcho was left in no man's land by his defense there! 95 minutes into the game, Teodoro da Rocha threw the ball into play from the sideline. Pirajai EC's Teodoro Guedes quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Libanesa walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
