A collision led to JanZan getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. César Carvalho hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, JanZan's goalkeeper Eduardo da Silveira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Perivaldo Rosado. Alexsandro Madureira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexsandro Madureira in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eduardo da Silveira saved JanZan from getting behind. Samuel Cardozo kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Eduardo da Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexsandro Madureira in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Vicente Coelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Perivaldo Rosado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Eduardo da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulisses Cardosos short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Eduardo da Silveira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexsandro Madureira in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eduardo da Silveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot 38 in the game by Ulisses Cardoso from a close distance when the talented Eduardo da Silveira managed to make a qualified save. JanZan's players were relieved. Ulisses Cardoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Eduardo da Silveira made a huge save. Vicente Coelho struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Eduardo da Silveira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. Paulistano. C.A. Paulistano's Vicente Coelho got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexsandro Madureira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Ronaldão Prestes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Gabriel Lago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on JanZan's corner David Munhoz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tiago Gabriel Lago quite easily take care of the ball. Ulisses Cardoso kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Vicente Coelho notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of JanZan's Eduardo da Silveira. Eduardo da Silveira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 68 played minutes C.A. Paulistano got a freekick which was hit by Perivaldo Rosado. When Gualter Macedo fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A. Paulistano walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
