Alfredinho Penha's shot from long distance in the 36th minute was not bad at all, but castelianos's Pedrinho da Rocha knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. In the 60th minute, João Adolfo Breckenfeld reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Samuca Paiva. The goal made the score 1-2.
