With his leg Pedrinho da Rocha managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Buritizeiro EC's Ricardo Rocha fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ricardo Rocha did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Pedrinho da Rocha 20 minutes into the match. Buritizeiro EC's Betinho Tavares managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alfredo Dionísio in the 28 minute of the game. Pedrinho da Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, castelianos's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Rocha came free, but Pedrinho da Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedrinho da Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Rocha in the 43rd minute of the match. After 44 minutes castelianos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ricardo Rocha who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Nestor Costa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pedrinho da Rocha quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The supporters of Buritizeiro EC booed when castelianos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simão Secco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedrinho da Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tarcisio da Cunha in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Ricardo Rocha made a precise shot to the right of Pedrinho da Rocha. castelianos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 61stth minute of the game Ricardo Rocha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but castelianos's Pedrinho da Rocha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 64th minute, Nestor Costa made a precise shot to the right of Pedrinho da Rocha. castelianos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 68th minute Ricardo Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho da Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
