After 31 played minutes Insight got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Fernandes. In the 32nd minute Paulão Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Iñiguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raphael de Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulão Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Iñiguez having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Wanderson de Sena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ismael Alagoano was the one to do the kick off. Insight's Pascual Iñiguez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Insight from getting a goal against them. Pascual Iñiguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Alagoano in the 61st minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Ismael Alagoano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pascual Iñiguez, 1-1. In the 67th minute Ismael Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Iñiguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Insight getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Gugu Cerezo hit a great ball. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
