Spectators: 7254 (Terracing: 5442, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Caetano Coutinho kicked off to start the match. After 6 played minutes JEDI got a freekick which was hit by Caetano Coutinho. In the 7th minute, Luciano Nóbrega got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 8 minutes, Breno de Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marasco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Breno de Sousa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlinhos Recife showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Nóbrega in the 10th minute of the match. After some careless play in the JEDI defense, Luciano Nóbrega kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlinhos Recife. The JEDI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlinhos Recife should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Nóbrega in the 19th minute of play forced JEDI's goalkeeper Carlinhos Recife to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Breno de Sousa notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of JEDI's Carlinhos Recife. Carlinhos Recife was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 26 minutes into the match, JEDI's goal looked a bit too open when Breno de Sousa came free, but Carlinhos Recife reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Laerte Brodel fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JEDI's protests and gave Laerte Brodel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th match minute, JEDI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laerte Brodel to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 31 minutes, Benedito das Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marasco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedito das Neves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Marasco booed when JEDI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Eduardo Mendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlinhos Recife made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Nóbrega in the 37th minute of play. Carlinhos Recife took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Nóbrega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luciano Nóbrega in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlinhos Recife prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Nóbrega in the 52nd minute of play forced JEDI's goalkeeper Carlinhos Recife to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Breno de Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlinhos Recife having to interfere. If Breno de Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Breno de Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Luciano Nóbrega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlinhos Recife having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, JEDI's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Nóbrega came free, but Carlinhos Recife reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlinhos Recife had great luck who in the 79thth minute grab hold of the ball when Luciano Nóbrega from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Gonçalo Meirelles came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by JEDI's Caetano Coutinho. But to his dismay, Caetano Coutinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Marasco's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
